About Us

Hello! We are Meg and Simon. In 2015, after completing degrees in pottery, sculpture and Fine Art, we started putting on little pottery painting events and parties for our family and friends, which gave us an idea! In 2016 we started doing mobile parties and events for the general public and in 2017 we moved into a container studio at the lovely Boneyard in Canton, Cardiff where we host pre-bookings, walk-ins, parties of all kinds and generally love being a part of the creative and welcoming atmosphere of the Boneyard.

About-Megan
Meet Megan

The most important thing to know about Meg is she LOVES colour! She has an MA in Fine Art and loves working with people to make, create and bring things to life with colour and clay. During the week Meg works with special needs children in Britain’s largest special school. Her background in painting and clay-work has given her unique abilities to use art in therapeutic and celebratory ways.

Meet Simon

With a degree in sculpture, Simon’s passion is working with different materials and textures. His speciality is coming up with unique designs for the treasured hand and footprint clay impressions we help our clients create.

In 2018 Meg and Simon married and have a staffy/collie cross called Coco. Aww!

Peggy’s Pots was named after Megan’s nan. Her name was actually Margaret but everyone called her Peggy. When Megan came along, she was named after her Nan as Megan is the Welsh version of Margaret. Peggy loved having a business named after her!
